The simplicity of this scarf belies its depth of character and interesting colour combinations.  Woven in a simple plain weave, a gentle ribbed texture has been created by alternating every row with multiple strands in myriad colours; building depth and uniqueness into every row.  Added to that, the blue hand-painted Shetland wool warp (the threads in the length of the scarf) changes intensity which creates a subtle striped effect which is truly one-off, exclusive and unrepeatable.
